Augers

Groundforce Attachments range of Augers turns an excavator into a temporary drilling rig for use in fencing, landscaping and construction work. Typical uses include the drilling of post holes, stanchion bases and pre-drilling for pile driving. The boring heads are tungsten tipped and are designed with a constant spiral cut and a tooth cutting angle to ensure spoil is broken thoroughly to avoid clogging.

The Auger is a high quality & versatile Earth Drill designed for a variety of earth moving tasks improving productivity while also being tough enough to handle a variety of ground conditions.

Key Features

A Pre-Auger is fitted to an excavator in the same way as an Excavator Mounted Vibrator (EMV) and using the pre-augering method means a vibratory hammer can be used in place of an impact hammer.

Using a piling auger as a method of preparing the soil is beneficial for a number of reasons:

  • For use in fencing, landscaping and construction work
  • Ideal for drilling post holes, stanchion bases & predrilling for pile driving
  • The tungsten tipped boring heads are designed to ensure spoil is broken thoroughly to avoid clogging
