Course Objectives

Understand health and safety first aid legislation and the role of a first aider
Respond to and manage an emergency and the communication needed for casualty care
Demonstrate resuscitation (adult CPR)
Learn how to deal with burns, chocking,shock, seizures, and an unresponsive casualty
Identify the correct defibrillator prompt and how to respond to them as well as pad placement

Certification

St John Ambulance and/or Groundforce Training certificate

EFAW qualification is valid for 3 years
