Road Plates

Road Plates are an effective solution for continued road use where trenches or excavations are not reinstated. Road Plates are available either in plain metal or with an anti-skid surface that incorporates resin-bonded bauxite chippings. They provide a quick solution where there is a need to maintain road use during peak times or between periods of work.

  • Road crossing plates available in plain  steel or anti-skid
  • Anti-skid plates incorporate resin-bonded  bauxite chippings
  • Other sizes made to order on request (sale only)

Road Plate with LiftSafe

A lifting shackle engages directly into a built-in lifting cassette manufactured centrally in the plate. When combined with a single leg chain sling, the plates can be easily lifted, transported and positioned by the machine operator.

This eliminates the need to use a four-leg chain sling to handle the plate and greatly reduces the risk of hand injury, finger trapping and other safety issues associated with this method.

Note: Four corner holes remain in place should a four leg chain lift ever be required
