With a first class honours degree in Civil in Environmental Engineering from UCC in 2009, a thesis on The Hydraulic Properties of Irish soils and 6 years working as Groundforce’s Technical Sales Engineer for the Munster and Leinster areas, Joseph Lenihan has been appointed as the new Manager in Ireland.
He joined Groundforce in December 2009 after work experience with Balfour Beatty in London and PMD Marketing in Cork. Over the past 6 years Joe has represented Groundforce in Southern Ireland and was winner the Groundforce Specialist Sales Award in 2013.
Joe will be responsible for the regional sales teams within Groundforce as well as the Operations and Hiredesk services both in Portaloise and in Lisburn. Part of his role will also be to develop sister company ESS Safeforce’s safety and survey business in northern and southern Ireland.
I am delighted to be taking over the reins at Groundforce Ireland. There is a fantastic team already in place from Operations to Hiredesk to Sales and I hope to continue the growth of the business as the market improves and we seek further opportunity in new areas of the construction sector.
