FAQs

What are Driving Caps designed for?

Driving Caps are specifically designed to aid the installation of Trench Sheets.

Why use a Driving Cap for Trench Sheet installation?

They are simple to fit and use and act as a protective shield which vastly reduces end damage to trench sheets while improving the driving process.

How are Driving Caps fitted and used?

Once sheet verticality is achieved (e.g. using an excavator) use either a sling or lifting lugs, if provided, to raise and fit the Driving Cap on top of the trench sheet. Ensure the Driving Cap is fully located before driving the sheets. (see user guide for full details)

Are difference sizes of Driving Caps available?

Caps are available in two sizes to cover the range of Groundforce trench sheets. (see table below)

Do Groundforce supply any other equipment for Trench Sheet installation?

The Groundforce SheetMaster is a revolutionary, non-hydraulic, sheet handling and installation attachment developed to undertake the three dig and push operations of pitching, driving and extraction for the Groundforce Shorco range of trench sheets.

Do Groundforce offer training courses?

Groundforce Training Services offer industry leading accredited safety training primarily for those working in utilities, construction and civil engineering. From short duration health and safety awareness to more complex or specialist safety consultancy solutions.
