Rolling Strut Trench Box

About Rolling Strut Trench Box

The Rolling Strut Trench Box differs from a conventional fixed strut position trench box in that the rolling struts enable both plates in the system to move independently of each other during installation and removal.

  • Top box permits depths up to 6m
  • Box extensions available
  • Rolling struts enable parallel plate movemnt for ease of installation and removal with minimal ground settlement
  • Variable strut positions allow maximum access for installation of long pipes and improved operator visibility
  • Vertical strut clearances of up to 3.1m for installation of large diameter pipes or culverts
  • Plates can be pushed down to different invert levels for stepped trench excavations
  • Trench widths up to 6.6m can be achieved, exceeding the range of traditional box systems
  • Four-way handling points to aid safe assembly
