They are typically suitable for use in trenches up to 4.9m wide x 6.6m deep in reasonable ground conditions, they are not recommended in unmanaged, waterlogged ground. Groundforce offer a wide range of trench box sizes with various strut types, providing a safe solution on site.

The Single Slide Rail is a modular trench shoring system featuring a single guide rail for installing trench shoring plates. It is designed for efficiency and safety, keeping the trench width constant throughout excavation while reducing installation and removal forces.​The system's design enables greater under-strut clearances than conventional trench boxes, and additional strut clearance is possible when using a steel beam or a concrete slab.​The shoring panels are only inserted into one guide to allow a maximum box depth of 3.8m and a width of 6.24m. For longer pipe runs, the Rolling Struts can be arranged so their heights are offset, enabling pipes to be ‘pitched in’.
